Looking forward to a great 2017.....

Tricky and I puppeteering Tricky and I - this past Wednesday nite...

Another great nite in my life in the books....
Elmwood had a little get together for the wrapping up of our new series "The Risley Brothers".
It was great to see all the new cats and some "old school" Elmwood-ers show up.  Makes me want to do an Elmwood Family Reunion at some point, just so I can see everyone again...  Hahaha...

Looking forward to the post production on the show and then getting it out there for all to see....
And even more so can't wait to start our next project!

2016 has been weird and awesome.  Looking very forward to 2017!

Sweet dreams....

Wow... A wrap on "The Risley Brothers"!

So Kermit needs to know...
If is too early to decorate for Christmas?

We wrapped shooting on the "Risley Brothers" series last nite...
Both a great feeling and a little sad, but if people like it we'll do a second series!
We're hoping to have it out there and premiered in February, and I can't wait for people to see it!
Here's some behind the scenes pictures from last nite!

Now if I could just make the world sing in perfect harmony....

Had an amazing past few hours with Ricky, Mike, and Paul...  Some of my Elmwood Productions family.  We were shooting some of the last bits for the "Risley Brothers" series, then we just sat and chatted and laughed, ALOT...
And now I'm on my couch reflecting....
Mike mentioned as the nite was winding down, that life is better because of his involvement with Elmwood.
And it got me thinking....

Life IS better.

Ten years ago I had no idea where Elmwood, or my life would be, would be.  And at that time, as my life was is turmoil, I decided that Elmwood would be my home base, my rock.  It was going to be something I would be proud of no matter what else was going on in life.  I wanted to make sure every project with the "Elmwood Productions" name on it reflected me and the direction I wanted to go in creatively.
And while I have made compromises to get there I am as proud as I can be in all we have done in the past decade.  And in the past decade not only has my life gotten better in ways I could not have imagined, but Elmwood Productions has gone above and beyond my dreams.
I'm honestly amazed at all WE have done. And how far we have come.
I have no idea who will see and read this post to be honest.  But I am proud.  And happy.  We have done good.  And the crew we have is something of dreams.  Holy cow I am a lucky man.  I'm grateful and thankful to all of you who have been a part of this for the past decade.
And the last year....  What a year!!!  This crew has been amazing....  I love how we have risen up and done something special.  Something that will make people laugh, and maybe think.  I am lucky to call you all my friends.
Can't wait to share this new show with all of you.  And can't wait to work on the next project with these amazing people....
There isn't a way to verbalize how lucky I am and how thankful I am for all I have and all we have done....
So I will just end it with a simple, and honest and true...  THANK YOU.

Post Halloween Candy Rush Crash....

With Halloween over I guess it's time to start looking forward to Thanksgiving!

So I figure I'll start right now!
Thankful.  I am.
For so much in the world I live in right now.  Sure, it isn't perfect, it never will be.  But sometime it's good to stop yourself and look around and realize what you do have instead of always looking for something else.
Gratitude is a great thing.  And I am so grateful for what I have and the people around me.
And sometimes it's just the simple things that can make it all OK.
