Big Nite! Thursday Nite! 4/27

I'm pretty excited about Thursday!!!
Elmwood Productions is premiering our new web series
at The Hartford Flavor Company!
We all worked our asses off on this one, so we hope you come and check it out!

Here's all the details -
Let's get the spring started with "The Risley Brothers"!
Elmwood Productions is proud to invite you to The Hartford Flavor Company on April 27th for the very first screening of our newest web series!
From the people that brought you "Steve the Vampire" and the award winning "HEAD" -
"The Risley Brothers" is a comedic story of Wes and Quig, who have just re-opened their father's defunct bar. They are doing their best to keep the place respectable in spite of the local looneys, crazy ex-girlfriends, a visit from the Devil, and even their own bad habits!

Hartford Flavor Company is the parent company of Wild Moon, a line of unique, flavored liqueurs made of all natural ingredients. Visit our production facility & Tasting Room as part of the nite! A Silver medal winner at the 2015 & 2016 NY World Wine & Spirits Competition. Wild Moon Liqueurs Birch flavor recognized by an international publication as CT's most unique spirit.

Joining us at the screening will be Robert Fullerton for a performance of his music before the movie begins! Robert provided the theme song for the show; "Hard To Be Gone", and several of his tunes are featured throughout the series!
And we'll have Bradley Taffy there! Providing all of you with amazing kettle corn, taffy, and maybe some suprises!
And... Yup, another and! Avery's Soda! The awesome team from Avery's will be there to help out the thirsty, and hopefully even mix it up with some Wild Moon and see what kind of flavors will blow out taste buds away!

Rated PG-13 for some suggestive humor, and a few colorful words.

$5.00 admission to the screening. Doors Open at 6:00 PM, the pre-show with Robert Fullerton is at 7:00, and the film begins at 7:30.

Ben

BEN
Mouth Puppet - from "Christmas Wishes" and "The Risley Brothers"

So I'm going to try to get back into a puppet every week, on Saturdays...  I've got a bunch from the past year-ish with "The Risley Brothers" series and other projects that haven't been posted yet.
This one above was used in "The Risley Brothers" as a patron of the bar a couple times, and now as "BEN" and in "Christmas Wishes", a short that will be released later this year.  Between Risley and the new short we gave him new eyeballs.  Haha...
Some of this puppet goes waaaayyy back to 2005.  His body and original head were made then.  The puppet was then used a few years later (with original head) in "Leonard and BWoP"...
Which we really should do more with those guys!
Then the head was removed and ended up on a tree in "HEAD".  While prepping "Risley" I took the nody and gave him an all new head.  This poor puppet cant catch a break.  You'll see what I mean when the short comes out!
Here's a peek though at the shooting of "Christmas Wishes"....
And come back next week for more pics!
